The United States has always been a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. Not only for pleasure but also for shopping, where the prices of goods are much smaller than in other parts of the world. Unfortunately, the American dream is still not available for everyone, because of the visa issues. During my 2 weeks of holidays, I travelled from the east to the west coast of the country and I was able to visit 5 great cities and some beautiful landscapes.
New York City is the most cosmopolitan place on earth. You can have mixed feelings towards this enormous city; you can love it or hate it. I like big cities so I was really amazed by everything this metropolis has to offer. Manhattan has an unbelievably high sky scrapper: World Trade Centre, Rockefeller Centre or Empire State Building – all three have an amazing observatory deck.
Washington D.C. is capital of United States. It is the place where everything is well organised and kept very clean and tidy. What you have to see is the Capitol, the White House and the Pentagon.
San Francisco is the coolest city I have ever seen where you have great tourist attractions like Golden Gate Bridge Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz Island, Lombard Street, Painted Ladies, Mission Dolores Park. Because of its location, the city has a pleasant climate too.
Las Vegas is the craziest city in America. The copycat city, where you will find duplicate thus-classical attractions from around the world in smaller sizes. This place never sleeps, and life is vibrant 24 hours a day. It is a place offering casinos where you can win money or lose all your savings. Everything is about money, shopping and having fun.
Grand Canyon is the most spectacular place to visit. Located only 2,5 hours away by car from Las Vegas. Perfect place for photographers. This is one of the places you have to see once in your lifetime.
Los Angeles is “city of stars” as in the movie “La La Land”. A city famous for its many American cinema productions, sunny weather and “walk of fame” in Hollywood. The most popular beaches are Santa Monica and Venice. Los Angeles is a city where travelling by car is necessary because public transport is limit
